At the CHINA FIRE 2023 Exposition, 's booth showcased various fire trucks modified using MAN's new generation truck chassis. Among them, this hefty vehicle with a white bumper was the most eye-catching: the 6X6 airport fire truck. Essential for safeguarding commercial airplanes and airport safety, CSCTRUCK's airport fire truck, based on MAN's all-wheel-drive chassis, is in service at multiple airports across the country. Beneath its rugged exterior lies immense power, always ready to battle flames.

The red TGS cab paired with the white bumper stands out among the many vehicles with dark gray bumpers at the exhibition. This MAN TGS33.510 cab has been modified with a reduced roof height, making it appear like a fire truck cab at first glance. The cab can accommodate three people, and thanks to the lowered roof, the vehicle's overall height is controlled at 3.99 meters. The vehicle's dimensions are 9,780mm x 2,550mm x 3,990mm, with a wheelbase of 4,200mm + 1,400mm.

Although it doesn't come with top-tier LED headlights, it still features basic LED daytime running lights. When the vehicle starts, the white light strip under the headlights illuminates, making it highly recognizable.

As specialized airport fire trucks, 2 fire monitors are almost standard equipment for every main airport fire truck. Although the front monitor has a lower flow rate than the roof monitor, it can spray extinguishing agents while the vehicle is moving. Fuel leaks can cause flowing fires that are fatal to the vehicle, so it is equipped with self-protection nozzles. Nozzles are installed at the front of each axle and the rear of the rear axle to protect the underside of the vehicle, including the hubs and the inside of the tires, from high temperatures.

According to data from CSCTRUCK, the front monitor of this model is an Elkhart 7100EXM from the United States, with a flow rate of 1,200 liters per minute.

Powerful performance is a strict requirement for airport fire trucks. To meet the stringent acceleration criteria, this MAN TGS33.510 6×6 fire truck chassis is equipped with a 12.4-liter D2676 inline-six diesel engine, delivering a maximum output of 510 horsepower. With the assistance of an automatic transmission, it can accelerate from 0 to 80 km/h in 39 seconds when fully loaded. Considering this nearly 30-ton giant, achieving such acceleration is commendable. The vehicle's top speed also reaches 110 km/h.

Underneath the model number TGS33.510 on the car door, there is a specific label indicating "EURO VI," demonstrating that the vehicle complies with the most stringent global emission standards.

The vehicle is capable of transporting 11 tons of water and 2 tons of foam, crucial for swiftly suppressing fires during the critical 'golden three minutes' after an aircraft incident. Its roof-mounted cannon employs the American Elkhart 7400EXM, delivering a flow rate of 4,800 L/min. According to CSCTRUCK's specifications, a dry powder system can also be provided upon customer request.

Many airport fire trucks of this type feature a dual-engine design. The original vehicle engine handles normal driving, while a rear engine is dedicated solely to powering the firefighting pump. This setup enables firefighting operations even while the vehicle is in motion, with each engine performing its role independently. Additionally, the pump selected by CSCTRUCK is the American Watterous CB10/100-CXK, offering a flow rate of 6,000 L/min.
