Recently, at the China International Import Expo, Hyundai Motor displayed its hydrogen fuel cell heavy truck for the first time, demonstrating its leading technology level in the field of hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicles. In order to further penetrate into China's hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicle market, Hyundai Motor signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements to build a hydrogen energy industry ecosystem in China on the eve of the CIIE, strengthening cooperation with Chinese partners.

Cooperate with Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shunhua New Energy System Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Ronghe Power Financial Leasing Co., Ltd., and plan to promote 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell trucks in the Yangtze River Delta by 2025;

In cooperation with China Iron and Steel Research Group and Hegang Group, it plans to promote 1,000 hydrogen fuel cell trucks to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region by 2025. At the same time, Hyundai Motor will launch hydrogen fuel cell heavy trucks in China based on its successful entry into Europe.

Various strategic measures show that Hyundai Motor is making full preparations for entering China's hydrogen fuel cell commercial vehicle market. Hyundai Motor launched the "XCIENT Fuel Cell" heavy-duty truck for hydrogen fuel cells in China for the first time on the stage of the "2020 China International Import Expo".

The Chinese market is advancing: by 2035, promote the popularization of 1 million hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
