Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), the country's leading manufacturer and distributor of brand-new trucks for 20 consecutive years, turned over 84 units of fire trucks to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
This program aims to hire more firefighters, provide intensive training, and acquire modern fire trucks and equipment to upkeep their operations.
The first batch of delivery includes 54 units of Isuzu FVR34 trucks with body and equipment built by Hanseo, which is a 16-tonne truck that has a capacity to carry 1,000 gallons perfect for medium to heavy operations, powered by the 6HK1TCL engine that can produce up to 240 PS maximum power and 706 N-m maximum torque.
While the remaining 20 units of Isuzu CYZ52 trucks, were installed with body and equipment by Nanomedics, that can carry a total of 2,500 gallons, powered by a 6WG1TCN direct injection common rail engine that can deliver a maximum of 420 PS of power, maximum torque of 1,863 N-m, and is EURO V compliant.
As the NO. truck brand in the country, ISUZU gave assurance that the BFP will have full support wherever the trucks may be deployed in the country.
