Truck Mounted SANY Palfinger Crane For Railway Construction in Ethiopia

On December 2nd, 2014 Sany Palfinger's cranes were selected by Turkish construction company Yapi Merkezi for the new 389-kilometer Awash to Weldia railway line in Ethiopia.

The $1.7 billion Awash-Weldia project is part of an investment programmed by the Ethiopian Railway Corporation to connect northern Ethiopia with central regions, in a bid to drive economic growth in the country. It is one part of a plan to add 2.400 kilometers of new railway lines aimed at completing a comprehensive network. The truck-mounted SANY Palfinger's crane PK23500 makes great performance in the construction of this project.
